Cookie Policy
Effective date: May 23, 2026Last updated: May 23, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Efferon U.S. Corporation (“Efferon”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on https://us.efferon.com (the “Site”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
By continuing to use the Site, you agree to our use of strictly necessary cookies. Where required by applicable law (for example, in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland), we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can change your choices at any time using the controls described below.
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site owner. We use the term “cookies” in this Policy to refer to cookies and similar technologies, including pixels, tags, local storage, and software development kits.
Cookies may be:
- First-party (set by the domain you are visiting) or third-party (set by another domain, such as an analytics provider).
- Session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (which remain on your device until they expire or are deleted).
2. Categories of Cookies We Use
We use cookies in the following categories. The specific cookies in use on the Site may change over time as we update the Site, our hosting platform, and our analytics configuration.
2.1 Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the Site to function and cannot be switched off. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as setting your cookie preferences, navigating between pages, or submitting forms. They do not store personally identifiable information for marketing purposes.
Examples include cookies set by our hosting provider, Vercel Inc., to route requests, balance load, and protect the Site against abuse.
2.2 Analytics
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Site so we can measure and improve its performance. They collect information such as which pages are visited most often, how visitors arrive at the Site, and any errors encountered.
We use:
- Vercel Web Analytics — a privacy-conscious analytics tool provided by our hosting provider, Vercel Inc., which uses anonymized usage data and does not use third-party cookies for cross-site tracking.
- Google Analytics (where enabled) — provided by Google LLC, which uses cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish unique visitors and measure usage patterns. We have configured Google Analytics to anonymize IP addresses where this option is available.
Information collected by these tools may be transferred to the United States and other countries where the providers operate. We do not use these tools for advertising or cross-context behavioral targeting.
2.3 Functional
We may use a small number of functional cookies to remember choices you make on the Site, such as your cookie preferences or your preferred language. These are not strictly necessary, but they make the Site easier to use.
We do not currently use marketing, advertising, or social media tracking cookies on the Site. If this changes, we will update this Policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
3. Managing Your Cookie Choices
You can control cookies in several ways:
- Cookie banner. Where required by law, we present a cookie banner when you first visit the Site. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies and change your choices later through the link in the footer of the Site (where available).
- Browser settings. Most browsers let you view, manage, and delete cookies. You can usually find these options in the “Settings”, “Preferences”, or “Privacy” section of your browser. For guidance, see the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. Blocking all cookies will affect how the Site works.
- Google Analytics opt-out. You can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent Google Analytics from collecting information about your visits across all sites.
- Do Not Track. Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is currently no industry consensus on how websites should respond to these signals, and we do not currently respond to them.
- Global Privacy Control. Where required by applicable law (including the CCPA), we treat a recognized Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signal as a request to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information.
4. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in applicable law. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice on the Site.
