Efferon LPS

Efferon LPS is a next-generation multimodal hemoadsorption device for extracorporeal blood purification in sepsis and septic shock. It is designed to remove both endotoxin and excess inflammatory mediators from the bloodstream.

In the multicenter randomized LASSO trial, treatment with Efferon LPS was associated with faster resolution of septic shock and improved hemodynamic stability, including a rapid increase in mean arterial pressure (MAP) and reduced vasopressor requirements. Patients treated with Efferon LPS also demonstrated shorter shock duration, earlier weaning from mechanical ventilation, reduced ICU and hospital length of stay, and improved early survival compared to standard therapy alone.

Pediatric

Efferon NEO

Efferon NEO is a multimodal hemoadsorption device designed specifically for children with sepsis. Approved for use in patients from 1 month of age, it is engineered to account for the physiological characteristics of small patients, including low circulating blood volume.

In the LASSO NEO study, hemoadsorption therapy with Efferon NEO was associated with faster resolution of multiple organ dysfunction and improved hemodynamic stabilization in pediatric sepsis patients. Treatment led to earlier discontinuation of vasopressor support and mechanical ventilation, reduced inflammatory burden, and a significantly shorter duration of intensive care support compared to standard therapy alone.
