We are pleased to announce our new strategic partnership. Distribution agreement is signed with Smart Medical Solutions, a major and well-established player in the Romanian medical device market. More than 19 millions of people are granted access to the advanced life-saving extracorporeal therapy of sepsis.

Together with the new partner, Efferon took part in the 51st SRATI Congress in Sinaia, a major national intensive care event. As part of the scientific program, Smart Medical Solutions hosted a symposium titled “Two Targets – One Adsorber”, featuring Prof. Jan T. Kielstein (Germany), and chaired by esteemed experts Prof. Dana Tomescu and Prof. Dan Corneci.

The session explored the dual-targeting approach of Efferon LPS, a next-generation hemoadsorption cartridge engineered to remove both endotoxins and cytokines from the bloodstream, recently approved in EU for sepsis patients under MDR regulation.
