Efferon LPS hemoadsorption device has been granted regulatory approval for clinical use in both the United Kingdom and Croatia.

The approvals, issued by the UK’s Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and the Agency for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices of Croatia (HALMED) mark an important step toward expanding access to advanced extracorporeal therapies in critical care.

Efferon LPS is a next-generation hemoadsorption cartridge engineered to remove endotoxins and cytokines from the bloodstream. It was approved in the EU for use in sepsis patients under the MDR regulation.
